History

Nebraska Flight Center, founded in 2003 at the North Omaha Airport, marked the beginning of our journey in the aviation industry. As we grew adapted to the demands of our operations, we made the important decision to move to the Blair Municipal Airport, where we temporarily operated from a portable office due to the unavailability of dedicated facilities at that time. Despite the challenges we faced, including a necessary pause in our activities at the end of 2007, our unwavering dedication to aviation remained strong. Opening in 2014, we continued operation until April 26, 2024, when a tornado struck Eppley Airfield. The damage was extensive, losing nearly our entire fleet of aircraft. While given the circumstances, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide safe and effective training to the local Omaha area. We restarted flight training shortly after the tornado with a new aircraft, and have continued to build back our fleet since then.
