Our instructors are safety focused individuals who have undergone extensive training and are certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration. They provide goals for students to create a clear pathway. Ryan Brace
Head Flight Instructor
Certifications: CFII, CFI
Born and raised in Gretna, NE. Ryan began his interest in aviation from a young age. He attended the University of Nebraska Omaha and attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Flight, accompanied by a minor in business and a minor in communications. Ryan holds a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Airplane certificate, along with his Commercial Airplane Single and Multi-Engine certificate.

Silvestre Chávez-Manifacio
Founder, CEO
Certifications: AGI, IGI, A&P
Silvestre dreamed of flying since childhood and fulfilled his wish in the 1990s by enrolling in Cochise Community College flight school, earning his Private Pilot’s Certificate. After moving to Omaha, he passed the IFR checkride with expert guidance from Jenn McIntyre at the Omaha Flight Center. He then completed two years at Iowa Western Community College to earn his Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificates.

Brian Weed
Manager
Certifications: Commercial, Single and Multi Engine, Instrument
Brian Weed is a commercial pilot with a passion for aviation and flight training. As a Nebraska Flight Center aircraft owner, Brian is committed to helping make general aviation accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for pilots at every stage. Brian is the founder and Omaha-area chapter leader of the NGPA – Cornhusker Flyers, the worldwide LGBTQ+ aviation community. With a background in aviation and a love for sharing the experience of flight, he is proud to be part of the Nebraska Flight Center community.
